Are you lonesome tonight?
ARE YOU LONESOME TONIGHT?

Winner of an Arts Award Voice, Pick of the Fringe award and nominated for The Arches Brick Award 2014, Are You Lonesome Tonight? is Chiron's first solo interactive performance. Based on true events and created with neuroscientist research partners, Paul Feltcher and Kate Merrit, it interrogates our understanding how and why delusional beliefs occur by asking:

What is the difference between an imaginative thought and a delusional belief?

How much choice do we have in the beliefs we hold?

Utilising participation, game play, visual imagery and music this performance examines the problematic nature of mental health diagnosis by exploring my lineage to Elvis Presley.

Are You Lonesome Tonight? examines my/your understanding of delusion and imagination by experimenting with the process of meaning making, examining altered states of perception and our interrogating  the creation of identity.

Originally created for NOW14 The Yard Theatre, London in March 2014 with support from Grants for the arts, Arts Council England

this is not you, this is just a story
THIS IS NOT YOU, THIS IS JUST A STORY
Inside this space,
The normal social rules do not apply.
Its ok to lie.
Its ok to the exagerate the truth.
And i'm ok with painfully honest.

This is Not You, This is Just a Story is an intimate performance in a public space using Skype - exploring honesty in a digital space, game creating alter egos, fantasy and alternate realities. The participants continue to communicate online after this first meeting.
